What a week it's been! There has been a whirlwind of news in the past week out of your favorite destinations. Discounts and reopenings and updates, oh my! Let's dive in! Walt Disney World ALL of 2021 is OPEN for booking! The rest of 2021 dates are finally available! On Thursday, Walt Disney World finally released the remainder of 2021 dates for booking! For now, dining plans still aren't available, but stay tuned for any updates on the dining front! Room Discounts! Walt Disney World is offering room-only discounts for most nights January 3-April 17, 2021! You can save up to 35% off a room price! (Florida residents are INCLUDED on this offer!) Memory Maker & PhotoPass With fall fun in full swing and the magic of the holiday season just around the corner, Disney is now introducing a special offer on Memory Maker! Guests who activate their Memory Maker now through November 30, 2020 can download all of their Disney PhotoPass photos and videos captured through the end of 2020 (rather than the standard 30-day window)! (Please note: the 45-day expiration policy on photos and videos remains in effect, so you'll need to download content before it expires.) Seasonal Fun Now through October 31, enjoy seasonal treats, catch a Halloween character cavalcade and even wear a Halloween costume at Magic Kingdom. Then, November 6-December 30, you'll enjoy festive food, beverage, and merchandise offerings, special projections on Cinderella Castle and appearances by Santa Claus himself! You'll be able to enjoy holiday décor at all four theme parks. All-Star Movies Bookings are now available for Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort for arrivals beginning February 9, 2021! Future dates of other Disney Resort hotel reopenings are subject to change and guests’ reservations could still be modified to other Disney Resort hotels if needed. The Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts From January 8-February 22, 2021, enjoy a global celebration of the visual, culinary and performing arts at EPCOT! Disney Cruise Line Early 2022 Itineraries On October 22, bookings for early 2022 Disney Cruise Line itineraries will be open! Early booking is now available to Castaway Club Members, Adventures by Disney Adventure Insiders, Disney Vacation Club Members and Golden Oak residents. Hawaiian Islands Cruises from Honolulu and Vancouver The Disney Wonder returns to Hawaii in early 2022 for two special 10-night cruises: a voyage to Honolulu from Vancouver, Canada, on April 26, and a return sailing to Vancouver on May 6. Even More Family Vacations from Florida Combine a Disney cruise getaway with a stay at Walt Disney World Resort in early 2022 with two ships sailing from Port Canaveral near Orlando, Florida, and a third ship departing from Miami. Every cruise from Florida in early 2022 includes a visit to Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay. Popular Destinations on the Disney Wonder The Disney Wonder sails Western Caribbean getaways early in the year, first from Galveston, Texas, with four-night itineraries, followed by four- and six-night voyages from New Orleans. The Disney Wonder returns to San Diego in March and April with cruises to Baja, Mexico, where guests can enjoy vibrant culture, stunning beaches and exciting water activities. Disney Wish Originally planned to sail in early 2022, the Disney Wish is now scheduled for its maiden voyage in summer 2022 due to pandemic-related delays at the Meyer-Werft shipyard in Germany. Updated Stateroom Categories Beginning in 2022, Disney Cruise Line will be updating existing stateroom categories to provide greater consistency across the fleet. Some categories will be elimated, while the concierge categories will be modified in an effort to make things more intuitive for guests. Not all stateroom categories are changing, and the number of staterooms and cabin numbers will remain the same for all ships. These changes will not go into effect until 2022. Adventures by Disney Adventures by Disney Private Adventures Adventures by Disney announced new Private Adventures to 5 worldwide destinations: Costa Rica, Egypt, Italy, Greece, and Peru. These special trips can accommodate up to 12 Guests, providing you with an intimate way to enjoy immersive and authentic experiences with your own chosen group of fellow travelers. Each of the new Private Adventures provides you the insider access you anticipate from an ABD vacation.
