You may have noticed that my social media handles have looked different over the last week or so. That's because I've made a really exciting change...

I'm now booking travel with a new agency: Wave of a Wand Travel!

While I've already reached out to currently booked clients, I'll share a few quick facts.

All currently booked travel is unaffected. Nothing about any reservations or my service will change!

Work From Home Faves from Amazon Prime Day 2022

Do you work from home, like me? Whether you permanently work from home, have a hybrid work schedule, or are just trying to refresh your home office, I've got you covered! Check out my must-haves.

Let's start with my setup. I use a Chromebook, and found this Samsung Chromebook on a major Prime Day sale!

In meetings, I use a ring light to make sure my clients and team can see me clearly. This one plugs right into your computer via USB, and has a few different light settings, so I can always make sure I'm looking professional in those Zoom/Facetime meetings!

Next up is a great document camera. I started using these long ago in my teaching days, but it also gives me another tool when I'm meeting with clients or sharing information in meetings. This one is a Prime Day special, and very similar to the one I use!

If you know me, you know that I'm always hot. To keep cool, I love this desktop fan that plugs right into your USB port.

I've been sharing a lot of items that plug right into USB, and you might be wondering how I have all of those working simultaneously! The answer is a USB extender. This plugs into a single USB in my computer, and has SEVEN different USB ports, so I can keep everything running smoothly.

Let's talk organization! I love this acrylic desk organizer to keep everything in its place. (It actually makes me want to stay organized!)

2 items I use regularly are my favorite mechanical pencils and some pretty binder clips.

Not everything fits onto my desk. To help organize overflow items, I rely on 2 things: my 3 Tier rolling cart and a great filing cabinet.

I always use a backpack as my carry-on when I fly. I can stick it below the seat ahead of me along with m purse, and don't have to worry about fighting over that precious overhead bin space. Plus, I can easily access anything I need from it during the flight. A backpack like this one is perfect and (bonus!) I love Under Armour gear.

First up are my holy grail park sandals. I actually live in these all summer long, and have 3 pairs of them so far! FunkyMonkey Sandals are by far my favorite year after year.
A great water bottle holder is an absolute necessity in the parks. A water bottle holder with a strap, like this one, will save room in your park bag and keep your hands free!
A portable phone charger is another must-have. Your phone will be working overtime in the parks, and My Disney Experience will drain your phone super quickly.
I'm an Apple user through and through and my Apple Watch is one thing I wear every day.
Like I said, I'm an Apple user, and this MagSafe Duo Charger for iPhones & Apple Watches is a personal favorite for charging multiple devices at the end of the day.
It's going to be HOT in Orlando, and a personal neck fan can be a game-changer for staying cool.
You won't be the only one that's hot! Keep your little ones cool with a stroller fan, like this best-selling favorite.
Speaking of strollers, you'll also want to keep your little ones and your belongings dry in the rain. Don't forget to grab a stroller rain cover for those Orlando pop-up storms.
You'll want to keep yourself dry during those rainy days, too! Grab a 4 pack of inexpensive rain ponchos, like these ones!
Once you're back in your hotel room at the end of the day, you'll want to recharge yourself and your phone. Even if you grab the Magsafe Duo charger that I mentioned earlier, I still recommend this 3 pack of 6 ft. Lightning to USB cords. They're great for hotel rooms, and I use them at home, too!
Road tripping? Use these bag hooks for your car to keep bags off the ground.

More Character Dining Returning

3 of my favorite character dining locations are welcoming characters back this fall! Keep reading to see if some of yours are returning, too!

On September 20th, Winnie the Pooh & Friends will return to Magic Kingdom’s Crystal Palace for a lunch and dinner buffet.

September 27th will see the return of Lilo & Stitch to breakfast at the Polynesian Village Resort’s ‘Ohana.

Finally, on October 4th, Minnie & Friends will return to the breakfast buffet at the Beach Club Resort’s Cape May Cafe.

I can’t wait! I’m excited for all of these, but Crystal Palace has a special place in my heart. Which character dining experience are you most excited for?

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Coming to Disney Parks in 2024

Strike up the band, because Tiana's Bayou Adventure is coming to Walt DIsney World and Disneyland in late 2024!

First announced in 2020, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will take guests on a musical adventure inspired by The Princess and the Frog. Picking up where the film left off, guests will join Princess Tiana, Naveen and jazz-loving alligator Louis on an adventure through the bayou as they prepare to host a one-of-a-kind Mardi Gras celebration where everyone is welcome.

This ride will be a full retheming of the current Splash Mountain ride at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Stay tuned or more updates!
