Updated Safety Guidelines
Beginning May 29, 2021, face coverings are no longer required for fully vaccinated guests, indoors or outdoors. Please note that while they do not require proof of vaccination, those who are not fully vaccinated are encouraged to wear face coverings while indoors. As always, please follow directions from team members.
Surfside Inn & Suites Now Reopened!
As I had previously reported, Universal's Endless Summer Resort - Surfside Inn & Suites has resumed operations!
Disneyland Reopening Announcement
It's official! Beginning June 15, 2021, Disneyland Resort will welcome guests from outside the state of California! The State of California strongly recommends that all guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the theme parks. In addition, all Guests will be required to wear an approved face covering throughout their visit. Additionally, the booking window for theme park reservations has expanded out to 120 days, allowing guests even more time to plan their return to the resort!
Opening June 4th is the all-new land, Avenger's Campus! It will allow guests to join the action with the Avengers like Iron Man, Black Panther, Black Widow and more; sling webs on the first Disney ride-through attraction to feature Spider-Man; taste-test food and drinks and become part of a bigger universe. The virtual queue system will be used for WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. Similar to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, virtual queue enrollment times will be twice daily, at 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. To learn how the system will work, Guests can visit the WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure page.
New Jungle Cruise Experience
Jungle Cruise will reopen July 16, 2021 at Disneyland park, with an updated experience that welcomes new characters from around the world plus even more of the humor, wildlife and skipper heart that makes this classic attraction a favorite.

Worlds of Marvel
Aboard the Disney Wish, guests will be able to dine at Worlds of Marvel. This is the first-ever Marvel cinematic dining adventure, where guests will play an interactive role in an Avengers mission that unfolds all around. This upscale-restaurant-meets-technology-showcase will up the ante on the traditional “dinner and a show” concept. Worlds of Marvel will take families on a flavorful tour of the real and fictional settings of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with dishes inspired by legendary locales like African Wakanda, Eastern European Sokovia and the Avengers’ home base of New York City.
Mask Update at Universal Orlando!
Effective tomorrow (5/29/21) Universal Orlando Resort will no longer require face coverings for vaccinated travelers. To contact me about a Universal Orlando vacation, contact me soon! This news will bring in lots more travelers, so make sure your reservations are on the books! Remember, Universal Orlando is accepting reservations into 2022!

This week we've gotten all kinds of new details released about the Disney Wish and learned about another Universal Orlando hotel reopening. Plus, we learned that 2022 Universal Orlando packages are available NOW! (Make sure that you contact me about those 2022 trips to lock in your dates because trips are booking like hotcakes!) Let's dive in!
Walt Disney World
You heard me right! Vacation cottages at Margaritaville Resort Orlando, located near Walt Disney World Resort, are now available for booking for arrivals beginning May 23! These cottages range from two to five bedrooms and offer amenities like daily housekeeping, full kitchens, washers and dryers, pet friendly accommodations and some even include private pools! Guests will have access to everything at Margaritaville Resort Orlando, including the pools, onsite dining options, and fitness center. Margaritaville Resort Orlando offers transportation to the Walt Disney World Ticket and Transportation Center, where you can then take Walt Disney World transportation to theme parks and more. More Details About Disney Wish Staterooms
Most staterooms will feature Disney Cruise Line’s signature split-bathroom concept and all will include a bathtub. There will also be 76 concierge staterooms and suites. These will feature living areas, king beds, luxurious finishes, and premium amenities. The Concierge Lounge will offer a full bar, light bites, special kids’ area, private sun deck with whirlpools, a pool, a bar, and the a pool deck host. Adults Only Fine Dining
Palo Steakhouse will combine Italian cuisine and modern steakhouse fare. Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement will feature a gourmet menu created by the three-star-Michelin Chef Lallement. Both restaurants will feature private dining rooms and will be joined by an outdoor terrace overlooking the ocean. Found at the entrance to Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté, The Rose lounge will serve as the perfect setting for a cocktail.
Experiences for Kids
At Disney’s Oceaneer Club, young princes and princesses will be invited to explore Belle’s library in Fairytale Hall. There, kids will act out some of their favorite stories with Disney friends.
Experiences for the Family
The Wish will feature a new Toy Story-themed waterplay district designed especially for families with toddlers and young children. Families will love the Toy Story Splash Zone, a water playground. This bathtub-themed splash zone will feature two toddler-sized slides and pop jets, geysers and bubblers. The Slide-a-saurus Rex will be a double-looping waterslide, Trixie’s Falls will be a six-inch-deep wading pool, and Wheezy’s Freezies will serve smoothies nearby.
Disneyland Hotel Reopening!
More of the magic is returning! The Disneyland Hotel reopens on July 2! During the closure, guest rooms were refreshed and updated. Rooms now feature a fun new fireworks pattern in the carpet and upgraded platform beds to help maximize storage.
As I had previously shared, you can experience 5–6 days of fun amid the lush Napo River and surrounding Amazon Basin forests on the Amazon Escape. It's the perfect pre-adventure to your Adventures by Disney Galápagos Islands Expedition Cruise. This add-on was previously only available only to guests currently booked on the Galápagos Islands Expedition Cruise. However, this is now available to everyone!
On this exciting adventure, you will visit a small village where you'll meet the locals of the area and take home some of their authentic craftwork. You can enjoy a leisurely kayak ride or go for a relaxing swim in the waters that make up Yasuni National Park. You can even enter the rainforest after dusk and go looking for unique nocturnal animals. Along the way, explore your finely appointed vessel with three levels, an observation deck, multiple sitting areas, outdoor whirlpool spa and an al fresco lounge!

There were some MAJOR announcements made by Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort yesterday! Both parks have relaxed their face covering policy, effective today. (5/15/21) In addition, temperature checks are no longer happening before park entry. You can check out some of the information listed on their websites below.
As you can see, face coverings are still required in queues, on rides, and in any indoor areas. Please also take extra precautions by using hand sanitizer and distancing when possible to keep your family safe and healthy!
With the constantly changing requirements, continue to check Walt Disney World's "Know Before You Go" and Universal's reopening guidelines frequently so that you're as prepared as possible.

A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King
It's official! A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King opens at Kingdom on May 15th! There have been a few changes to the show to allow for physical distancing and health/safety protocols for both guests and performers. Since we are all SO excited about this, and many of us may not have the opportunity to view A Celebration of Festival of the Lion King soon, a one-time live stream will be available on May 15 at 12:25 p.m. on the Disney Parks Blog. This just in....Universal's Endless Summer Resort - Surfside Inn and Suites is scheduled to reopen on May 26, 2021! Surfside is one of my favorite resorts, be sure to check out my resort review!

Suite Dreams! The FIRST-EVER Disney Cruise Line Tunnel Suite
The Wish Tower Suite, a first-of-its-kind accommodation set high in the forward funnel of the Disney Wish, will be a 1,966-square-foot penthouse in the sky. It will include a spacious upper-level loft, sleep up to eight guests with two main bedrooms, a children’s room, a library that converts to a bedroom, and four-and-a-half bathrooms. The living room will be flanked by an open dining area, and a bar, and an expansive two-story window wall.
The piece de resistance of this Moana-inspired suite will be a hand-crafted porcelain sculpture that comes alive in an only-Disney-can-do way. When you arrive to the Wish Tower Suite, the statue will pulse in hues of green amid soft chimes, revealing itself as the heart of Te Fiti. The special lighting and audio effects will eventually fill the room to provide a truly magical, one-of-a-kind greeting. Of course, you can expect the royal treatment while staying in the Wish Tower Suite, marked by the expert service of a personal concierge team, a delightful selection of curated services and daily treats, and even a private elevator. Talk about the VIP experience!
New Wedding Venue Onboard
Inspired by fairy tales, the Grand Hall features a magnificent staircase that serves as a stunning backdrop for a wedding ceremony or vow renewal. A shimmering chandelier illuminates the venue and sparkling columns, evoking the imagery of pixie dust. The royal blue and gold color palette can easily be paired with a variety of wedding looks. Like all Disney Cruise Line Fairy Tale Weddings, each couple will enjoy their very own dedicated Disney Weddings team who will be there along the entire planning journey and on the wedding day to ensure a magical wedding experience. Weddings aboard the Wish will begin June 20, 2022!
